I’m back!
Hello there!
Now I’m home again! It’s really nice to be back in the studio and work again but omg what a wonderful holiday we had!
We started our journey by going to Ericeira in Portugal, a small fishing village about 4o minutes outside Lisbon. We stayed there for a week and surfed at La Point surf camp along with the crew that we got to know during our surf vacation in Costa Rica. It’s so fun to combine holidays with exercise, learn something new in a playful way, together with lovely friends. I had never surfed before Costa Rica but got totally hooked last time. So it was very fun to jump into it again and try to improve. But it was much harder in Portugal! That’s for sure! The environment was completely different from Costa Rica’s long and sandy beaches. It was rocky, full of reefs, strong currents and it was such a force in the cold water! I flew around like a little glove in a tumble at times! But oh sooo much fun! :)
So is there anyone out there who would like to learn how to surf, I strongly recommend to go on such a trip! Check out La Point surf camps! There are surf schools in many locations around the world! Super fun really! :)
And here are some pictures from our time in Ericeira…
The camp!
I’m surfing ninja-style (haha).

After a super fun week in Ericeira we went to Lisbon for a few days before we went on home to Sweden again. Such a beautiful city! I highly recommend everyone to go there sometime!
… And in Lisbon you go sightseeing around by tuc tuc!
Ginja is our new favorite! Cherry liqueur in chocolate cups. Yum!
Inspiration! There’s a lot of cool street art in Lisbon.
Took a day trip to the beautiful city, Sintra.

You can never have to many view-pictures in your phone ;)
Last day in Lisbon we celebrated with champagne and oysters (which actually wasn’t that bad for one who never tried it before).
Then we flew back to Sweden!
It took about two days before we went out in the water and played again. This time we surfed in Varberg in Sweden. Really fun! :)
Andrea is striking a pose!
Then David and I took the car to Sälen in the middle of Sweden (during the winter it’s a skii resort), where we stayed for almost a week. Biking, hiking and picking blueberries and just had a cozy time in the Swedish nature!
A little bit colder here. 5 degrees and rain. Brrr!
Our cabin.
Blueberry love!
A lunch with a view!
Davids parents came up visiting for a few days.
David and his father rode an off-road race called Cykel vasan the last day. 90 kilometers! So Mia and I were cheering at the finish line.
Happy guys! They did it!
So… That was my holiday! For those of you who managed to look through all my photos ;) Sorry for the bombing! haha… But it was such fun weeks! Now I’m sitting here again in my cozy little studio and pack orders. It feels so good to be back! Preparing all that needs to be prepared for the Formland fair in Denmark this week. Tomorrow I’m off! I’m so excited! :) I’ll keep you updated! Maybe I see you there?
Hope you all had a wonderful summer!
